The Charles E. Smith Annual Memorial Lecture
Once each year, a Guest Lecturer in the field of Psychobiology is invited to present a Lecture in memory of Mr. Charles E. Smith, Founder of the Institute. The Lecture generally takes place during the month of March. The Lecturer is chosen by the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Institute.
Recommendations for the Smith Lecturer can be submitted attaching curriculum vitae, a list of publications and the subject of the lecture, until April 30 of each year. The nominator must establish prior contact with the nominee and ensure his or her acceptance of the invitation. In order to streamline the procedure for choosing the lecturer, it is highly recommended to contact the Director of the Institute by telephone - 02-6584088, by fax - 02-5653267 or by e-mail for a preliminary discussion. It is usual that the Lecturers are chosen alternately from the fields of clinical and basic research in Psychobiology.
The Institute will assume the Lecturer's travel expenses as well as financing his or her stay in Israel in accordance with established guidelines
