THE HARRY STERN NATIONAL CENTER
For Research and Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders

The National Center for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders was established by Mr. Harry Stern of Philadelphia. His initial support to the Center is for 5 years. The Center’s aim is to support and foster inter-institutional, cooperative research by investigators in this field in Israel. Support is allocated on the basis of competitive, peer-review applications, jointly submitted by research groups involved in the projects. The scientific policy of the Center is set by a Scientific Advisory Committee according to the guidelines established in conjunction with the donor.
