Psychophysics


The laboratory is equipped for psychophysics experiments in the fields of visual perception and attention. The computerized research infrastructure facilitates rapid and flexible set-up of experimental paradigms and displays.
The available components enable researchers to build static and dynamic, graphic and pictorial, displays and to measure subjects' responses to their presentation. We also have an eye movement monitor, joy-sticks and keyboards, sound systems, and more.


We also have a new top-of-the-line "Eye Link" infra-red eye movement tracking system, based on CCD technology. This system enables simultaneous binocular tracking and pupil size measurements (e.g. for testing emotional responses).The laboratory has specialized user-friendly software for building, managing and running experiments and for data storage and analysis.
